Is this even helpful at all? Please advice bro/sis.?

Good day bro and sis of yahoo answer.

My weight reduced from about 120KG to now about 115/116KG for the past few weeks due to control of food intake, taking less junk food, soft drinks, ice cream, chocolates etc.. My height is roughly 184CM.

This week i have started to go jogging at the park and i plan to jog whenever i have the free time as i have quite a tight schedule, juggling time between school and work.

I am able to jog without stopping for like 45minutes to 1hour. BUT my jog kinda slow (and i see others jogging faster than me), i cant really jog fast as i cant cover much distance if i go a faster pace for now.

My question is, so does SLOW jog really helps me in like at lease getting rid of some fats or even lower my weight more? Please advice, thanks in advanced.

Thanks alot~|||the harder you work, the more calories you burn in a shorter amount of time.

Fast run for 20 minutes you burn a certain amount of calories, slow jog for 40 minutes and the amount burned will probably be around the same.

Try jogging fast for a minute then slow for 2 minutes and keep alternating. This is called HIIT and has proven to blast calories and will cut down on your time.

Make sure on the days you do more cardio you eat a little more to keep your body nourished, if you're body isn't getting enough food it'll think it's starved and will put on all the food you eat as fat, you have to find a happy medium.

Keep up the good work and use www.calorieking.com to measure your calorie intake of your foods, I wish you all the best!|||Just make sure you aren't jogging TOO slowly. Like make sure you're getting a workout too - make sure you're still breathing heavily. apart from that, yes, i have heard taht jogging slower is better for burning calories. Btw, kudos for your hard work (:|||i heard jogging slowly is better than fast jogging---in fast jogging ,otherwise-running,u get tired really quick and u cant carry on any more and ur exercise time reduces and moreover u shouldnt start jogging fast all of a sudden....

try jogging on the beach ...the sand makes it harder and slows u down and its the best exercise i've ever heard of....

try the beach,bro|||Two things....

1. Whenever free time could be changed to a desired time.

2. You could alter the speed... slow, fast, slow, fast... moderate, etc., over the 45 minutes jog.

You are welcome.|||to loose weight you must do cardio - get your heart rate up. If slow jogging is getting your heart rate up, then yes, you are buring fat|||yes.
