i have dealt with rage and anger all my adult life now due to severe bullying and victimisation......i have BPD and ptsd.
im 30 years old and have had a very difficult unfortunate life so far..
growing up i fought with blacks in secondary school and was also ganged up on and victimised severley by them when i was on my own..
since then many traumatic things have occured all the way through my life.
i live alone on disability and are starting from scratch in life.
i dont have much possessions.
never been employed or gained qualifications etc.
the system has failed me up until recentley as ive not always had consistent care, support and a diagnosis..
i used to have problems with rage and rage outbursts in public, which stems from the bullying i suffered, i would cause myself public embarressment and humiliation and sometimes to be attacked because i lost control of my aggression , paranoia etc.
ive made vast improvements with anger and rage over the years, havent had an outburst for years......however sometimes i have setbacks which i get immensley disappointed about..
its a constant battle to control anger and aggression and theres times if i feel paranoid that people are singling me out......being aloof towards me....playing mind games.....or i interpret a threatening situation........or i see people living their happy lives it can all spark the rage feelings.
which im hoping therapy can help me with, because i accept i have made progress but still have great distances to go..
i suffer low self worth......bad anxiety attacks....struggle to build any social relationships....get clingy.......struggle to control aggression etc..
the other day, i took my bike out for a ride, in effort to get out...get excercise.....get my weight down etc..
because most times i stay cooped inside because of anxiety and ptsd symptoms.
whilst i was out riding my bike, my anger was surfacing again....but not in a bad way.......i was taking my aggression out riding my bike fast......clenching my teeth.......glaring with a serious angry expression.....which i regret now because i didnt plan to get that angry...
whilst riding up a hill, i stopped got off my bike and paused for a rest as i think i over did the excercise..
i took my water bottle out and sat down and rested my bike against the wall for a moment while taking a breather.
something unusual to me then happened, accross the road, but slightly further up, a big expensive sports car parked up, and a big skin headed black guy got out, who was muscular....appear like he worked out and did training etc..
it was unusual because i dont see many black people in the area i live...but ive started to notice some more and more.....which aggrevates my ptsd and aggression because in the past i had many problems with them and was ganged up on by them...
while i was sat down resting with my water bottle, the guy a bit further up, got out of the car.....and cast a lingering look my way.........i held his gaze and he just continued over the road..
he stared at me like he was saying' have i got a problem ' or ' i have a problem with what your doing on your bike etc '..
i didnt understand this behaviour, and felt quite annoyed, angry and aggressive he should target me.....as i have lived in the area 4 years now..
to be honest i struggle to like black people because of all the treatment and bullying i suffered from them.....and when i used to fight them in school....me and a group of others vs ....many large black gropus of people.........and then sometimes on my own...vulnerable with no one around.
he looked at me as i was glancing around with my water bottle, i held gaze, he continued walking.......but i felt very threatened by this stranger i didnt no.....and it aggrevated my ptsd....and i felt angry and aggressive afterwards as these things trigger past memories and aggression.
so the question is simply this;
as a 30 year old male, just trying to get on with his life....mind his own buisiness......control my aggression....work on my problems....lead a peaceful quiet life etc.
when a situation with a stranger like this arises how are you supposed to handle it without getting aggressive and confrontational ?
which could lead to more problems for me if i handle it wrong.
i felt threatened and provoked, and i dont want to ruin my life my starting a confrontation......i just want nothing to do with people like that.
in the past distant years, i used to experience hostile glances like this and i never used to know how to handle them....i used to have aggressive outbursts......cause alot of trouble , cause myself public embarressment etc.
ive not done that for many years...done very well...and want to keep it that way....waiting for therapy etc.
but when someone does that, obviously in far better shape than me...muscular....bigger than i am....glancing at me like ' have i got a problem '.......when im on my own riding my bike....these things i have big problems with.....and it ignites inner rage.
so how do you handle a situation like this ?|||You have to train yourself to ignore these people. It's hard; I've had similar problems, including being threatened by people whom I've glared at or made comments to. Now, I turn my back and walk away before I react. It takes practise and self -discipline but it is the only solution. Becoming involved in a physical fight is a no win situation. If you win the fight you end up in a police station explaining why, if you lose you end up in hospital. The people that provoke you are probably as agitated and angry as you are. Walk away and pity them.|||Redirect and walk away. You should have gotten on your bike and rode off instead of being confrontational. If you don't like a situation, you have a choice to walk away. Do it.

My dog was ran over by a car, and i feel like i could have stopped it?
I live with my fianc茅 at my parents鈥?house and my parents have a pull around driveway. There is a gate that you have to open and close for cars to get through because my parents have two dogs. Whenever someone is pulling out of the driveway, someone waits at the gate to close it once the car gets through. Well, my fianc茅 and I were getting ready to leave, so he gets in his truck and I stand by the gate waiting for him to get through so I can close the gate. Well I have a 17-year-old dog that has trouble with her vision and her walking. the truck was a good distance away and my dog entered the trucks path from the right side of the truck and was walking towards the left side of the truck, during this time I could have told my fianc茅 to stop the truck because I had a good enough time to do so, but for some reason I just didn't. So as the dog continues to walk through, the left side of the truck runs over her bottom and her back legs, I start screaming so my fianc茅 goes to put it in park but accidentally put it in reverse and the truck runs over her again. At this point, I knew the only thing we could do was to put her down because she is so old. even before this incident we were going to put her down because she couldn't control her bladder, could barely see or walk, always had trouble standing up, would always trip and fall and not able to get up. So my parents, my fianc茅, and I go to the vet and we put her down. This happened two days ago and people keep telling me it is not my fault but I still cannot help but think it is my fault. I honestly had well enough time to tell my fianc茅 to stop, but I did not. And I cannot understand why. It is driving me crazy that I cannot understand why I did not say stop. I do not know what to do, I am so angry with myself. The incident plays over in my head a million times a day and I cannot take it. Not only did I have to put a dog down and lose a family member(dog) that I have had for 17 years, but I also have to deal with thinking that it is my fault, and I also have to deal with the fact that I had to watch my dog get ran over and get ran over again. I am so angry with myself and cannot stop thinking it is my fault. I really need help. Please provide me with some feedback, suggestions, tips, advice, anything!!! Please and thank you.|||It's always easy to look back on what should have or could have been done. There are a million reasons on why this is. One very possible reason is that we get caught up in what we're watching. Not in an entertaining kind of way, but in a surreal moment kind of way. Almost in shock. The outcome is going to be so severe, that in a way, our minds immediately block that part out, and we appear mindless.
Results are not always what makes us. Sometimes, intentions speak louder. In this incident, your intentions were not the outcome. That is what you need to remind yourself. You didn't want this. Your actions, or lack of actions is nothing more than just coming up short in a moment of life. No different than a basketball player missing that last shot. I know there is a big difference between losing a game and losing a family member, but the analogy still fits. That ball player makes that shot 100 times a day, but didn't that time.
You can not beat yourself up over something that you can't even change.
Instead of thinking of the negative thoughts, redirect your mind to the positive things.
You did love that dog.
The dog did live a long time.
The dog no longer has to live in suffering of old age.
You did not cause the dog to die.
You can take each one of those thoughts, and build an influence around them. Take time to prove them right. In the process, you are not only distracting yourself from the bad thoughts that are bringing you down, but you are also building a case against them. You are arming yourself with a better truth.
I am sorry for your loss.
I hope my advice helps.|||wow... your fiance must have been pretty stupid to put the car on reverse and run over the dog twice......

What do you guys think of this story/poem i made?
Growing Pains
at the age of 5 a young boy wanted friends
he merely went over to the nearest person he could find
it was a girl who he found very attractive
"hi!", he said, "i think you have pretty eyes." and he introduced himself
the 5 year old girl laughed and acquainted herself with the young boy
he then said, "i like your smile!" which made her smile even more
stretching out to the point where she was exposing her dimples
in no time at all they were inseperable
always on the playground on the swings
talking about all of life's superficial things
they were bestfriends, even though they didn't know it then
the concept of a best friend was known of
but mysterious to any 5 year old
the chain which held their close bond together would be severed by time
15 years later a young man wanted a companion
he merely went over to the nearest person he could find
it was a young woman whom he found very attractive
"hi!", he said, introducing himself
afterwards he complimented her eyes
the young woman laughed and called him a creep
in no time at all she had left the scene
always in the park, he just thought to himself
about all of life's genuine feelings
confused about those feelings which he could not control
"how am i to learn if i can't share these feelings?"
the same young woman saw him in the distance
he was on a bench with his hands pressed against his head
she could see he was troubled
she went over to him and said, "my friend life is confusing."
"you have to learn how much you can share without hurting other or exposing yourself without even knowing who you are dealing with."
"why is it like this?", he asked
she just looked directly into his hazel eyes for some time
shortly after she smiled widely, revealing her dimples then walked away
only after she had left had he understood that he was was growing
and only he could learn to master himself in order to live
and only after she had departed had he realized
that the woman who had helped him understand
had the same smile as his old best friend.|||confussing..|||confusing and boring|||ITS TO LONG ITS SUCKS

I accidentally made wrong right turn in a one-way street/oncoming traffic. Did I do the right thing?
I can't believe this happened to me but it did. I was having car transmission problem driving, nothing too bad thank god, but still, and out of panic and not paying attention I was at a light, and then made that immediate right to try to park my car somewhere, but lo and behold, it was a one way and other oncoming cars started beeping. Luckilly they were still a distance away from me since it was a red for them, and a green for us, so they beeped and I had time to think quick and do a U, and be on my way out of there, and I of course put my hands up to thank people and in a way show that i'm in control nothing's happening, i'm not in trouble, etc.
I felt like in that situation I did the right thing. No cop showed up, and things were pretty much okay.
Did I do the right thing in that situation? Can I still somehow get in trouble for that? That's my only worry now I guess, luckilly I and others were safe, but I still don't want to end up hearing like a week later that someone for whatever reason saw that and wants to start something.|||you did what any other normal driver would do making your U turn, everything is fine, we all make mistakes, No cops showed up there and none will show up now,

Im 18year old but as many think im young and unexperienced.. There many time for many thing but im different inwhich the way i think is way far from my age. I met a guy over this internet website name mocospace.com is a dating website sort of like myspace. We talk for a few week then finally met one friday night at my old location job. We walk but he did most all the talking.. When going back to are car which was parked near eachother we switch hanging out in each car. Well when i ended up in his car we talk about musoc and certain nomal thing then we had are first kiss there was such a big chemistry which got me heated we both got out temperature. Well then we left a separate way him going to meet his friends and me making plan what to do and ended up at my friend house. The same night he text me and call me to be his girl i gladly say yes.. First few 3 week he was lubby dubby i was so nice but then he started acting distance.. Only one he answered my calls later on never answer but few time text me he was busy.... further on i got sad and mad broke up with him but now ended up back together so many thing happen like a day after seeing him i was in the express way and i was speeding with him i lost control and towed my car... Now im stuck with a finance car and im a student struggling and also a fulltime worker at a kid store as an assistant manager while he work in publix long harsh hour at stocking back room.. Alway busy but certainly i see him online on mocospace talking to other girl... so i ask him if he doesnt want me just tell me i know it hard but i will back off and i do it for better me and better of you.. Why make me think im your girl when you saying in mocospace prince looking for his princess or also i need a real lady in my life..... Im such a good girl got futured ahead and this is what i think i wont let someone put onhold my life... but im also a hardheaded person like challenges and need learn when i get my lesson....|||You like challenges, huh? Well, this guy is a challenge I am sure.
I care for Kurt Warner, I want him to do well this weekend in the Super Bowl, I will yell and pump my fists in the air when he scores a touchdown, but that's about as far as our relationship is going to go.
And that's about as far as your relationship with this guy is going to go.
Sorry.
I could just say simply that he's not that into you and be done, but the real issue for you is that you are being played and don't know it. Players flirt with other girls online (or anywhere you aren't) and then pretend that it was nothing when they want you. Players use you for their own games / egos / sex and don't care what you think or feel.
You are also confused between feeling "in love" which ends very quickly, and loving someone, which is a verb meaning to commit yourself to someone, heart and soul.
HE isn't going to do that.
Walk away and go get that bright future ahead of you.|||you should just be friends|||You might think you're mature but it doesn't sound like it.. you need to realize that you deserve better and move on.. although, it sounds like you think you do, you're acting the total opposite! He doesn't want you and he doesn't have to say it .. actions speak louder than words! he's keeping you around just in case he doesn't have anyone else to hang out with!........ good luck!|||My suggestion would be to move on with your life. You are young and have a entire life ahead of you. This guy is running a game on you. He no longer has an interest in you. He is moving to the next person. Leave him along you can find someone that will treat you better. Good Luck

Good Luck
My book so far - it's my fifth attempt - I did more but the limit is 5000 characters?
It was near enough pitch black as I walked barefoot along the damp ground of this unknown pavement on an unknown street. I kept walking anyway, the only noise being my silver bangles clanking against each other making an unnerving rhythm which echoed through this night. What I heard then was the clanking of a train in the distance for a moment. It soothed me so I listened until it had faded away. I saw my first artificial light as I turned the corner. I walked through the gates to see that it was a flickering street lamp next to a wooden bench; the arm rests on either side dripping water. I sat on it awhile for a rest and to clear my head when I then saw what appeared to be a shadow each time that the light flickered back on and it wasn鈥檛 mine. At the side of my face, in the corner of my eye, I could see frosted breath. I could feel it tickling my cheek and I didn鈥檛 dare turn.
A hiss came as I saw the white misty breath once more. Then it was gone. I stood and turned hastily, panting with fear as I did. There was nothing there. Scared, I ran to the gate. It had been locked by heavy steel chains. How? I rattled these iron bars and screamed and cried but I wasn鈥檛 strong enough and nobody was going to help me. I turned and slid my back down the moist twisted bars of the gate, crying silently.
This was no use. Crying to myself would get me nowhere. A rat scurried across my feet, and I could hear the patter as it 鈥?like every noise 鈥?faded into the black.
I stood, trying to control my frantic breath and slow my battling heart. My feet made no sound as of that moment and I held my arm to stop the chiming of my bracelets. There were trees on either side of me, all in a seemingly symmetrical line. They shivered as the frosty wind came swirling past, blowing my white hair behind me. I came to a fork in the path; there were three ways to go. Straight ahead, through more of the parallel trees; down beside a lake, surrounded by rusted black fencing; into the very black, where nothing could be seen past a metre of the 鈥榝ork鈥? I was most afraid of this path, maybe why it would be the best choice.
I went to the right, every footstep growing shorter, and each minute my heart rate was increasing. I could see nothing. I was afraid and I thought it irrational, after all that鈥檚 what the dark was. An irrational fear that many people thought rational. I kept moving and just hummed a pleasant tune to make myself feel better. It didn鈥檛 work. It was as though this park sucked the happiness out of everything, and left me with a chill. I ran again, trying to keep as quiet as I could.
I heard rustling next to me and I whimpered like an animal, but kept going. The noise followed me and I tried my very hardest to ignore it, to keep myself sane. Finally I saw a light and I ran so much faster towards it, keeping it in my sight and blocking out of my mind anything else I might鈥檝e seen, a mistake in the highest degree. It pounced on me, screeching.
Because of the 5000 character allowance I couldn't fit everthing on here :/|||Less is often more. There is a lot in your story that is completely unnecessary and distracting. Trust your reader to draw certain connections. Here is a version of your story I鈥檝e trimmed/edited. I think it sounds a lot smoother now. How about you?
You start a lot of sentences with 鈥業鈥? and 鈥業 saw鈥? 鈥業 heard鈥? Often, this is unnecessary. The reader knows that the story is told in first person perspective.
You're 'showing, not telling'. Instead of telling us that the character is crying, show us her glistening cheeks.
Honestly, I think you could still edit a lot in what I鈥檝e left behind, but you鈥檝e got an interesting start to something. Keep it up.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading the rest, despite the 5000 character limit! Hope this helps!
